Illinois Spring Turkey Hunts

Spring turkey hunts in a high-density turkey region of Southern Illinois. Hunts begin before dawn listening for gobblers on the roost; if birds don't cooperate off the roost we prospect (walk and call) and glass open fields — and with countless farms available, we relocate as needed when birds play hard ball. After the 1:00 p.m. cutoff we scout and roost a tom for the next morning if necessary. Priced by the day since tags often fill on day one: $200/day (1–3 days) · $175/day (4–7 days). Lodging at Hickory Creek Hideaway included. Meals not included — full kitchen provided. Illinois hunting license and turkey permit required.
